I love to teach, especially children. I know that through mentoring and teaching, I can make a significant impact in the life of another person. Performances generally last for an evening. But teaching can make a life-long impact...even a multi-generational impact.
Teaching and mentoring is VERY important to me. Each year, I serve as thee exclusive keyboard teacher, along with professional guitar, drum, dance, bass teachers, at the Blue Star Music Summer Camp for young adults. Students are screened for acceptance by camp's president, Jimmy Dillon. Jimmy also has a similar camp in San Fransisco. Please refer to the website for further information. Jimmy hand-picks only the most skilled music instructors as camp mentors.
In my spare time, I enjoy, running, bicycling, and just being still outdoors along a river or coast line.......as I am high-strung artist-type, and need to find the delicate balance of work and rest.
