Richard Beelen
Bassist Richard Beelen has performed professionally in various music genres throughout the United States and Canada. Performing with the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra directed by Sir David Wilcox; the Muskegon Civic Theater; opening for Dizzy GiIlespie; the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and numerous other ensembles show the range of his experience.
Watching students learn and grow has been a passion of Richard’s for over 35 years. He builds a Bass training program for each student and realizes flexibility is essential for their success.
